XS = Australian size 6-8
S = 8-10
M = 10-12
L = 12-14
XL = 14-16
1X = plus size 1, what we normally call an XXL, 16-18
2X = plus size 2, what we normally call an 3XL, 18-20

Measurements are taken across the garment while lying flat. Bust measurements are taken across the front, under the arms, from seam to seam (but note the cross over style and stretch fabric means there is quite a bit more room in this). Waist measurements are taken where the bodice meats the skirt, but again it is elasticated so has a lot of give.
S = 42.5cm bust, 42cm waist
M = 46cm bust, 45cm waist
L= 47cm bust, 47cm waist
XL = 50cm bust, 51cm waist
